Baumanburi Hotel ★★★★

It was beautiful stay as really nice clean room. All the staff are amazing, specially breakfast staff are not just beautiful and attractive but always served with great smile and kind help. Receptionist are super nice people and will assist whenever needed.

Only down sided was breakfast choices for non-veg was fine for non-veg people but people like Vegetarian or Vegan like us would be challenging. It’s better to have breakfast outside hotel unless Hotel do something for Vegetarians or Vegan people for better choice. Everything else was beautiful good stay.

Good location close to Otop market and beach. Nice pool.

Property is very dated. Bar and restaurant area depressing. Room smelt very musty. Booked a pool view room which had almost zero pool view. Desk staff said oh you have a corner room so they knew. Was offered a different room with marginally better view but smaller twin beds not suitable for a couple.

The location was only about a ten minute walk from the beach and in a good area

We had a pool access room but climbing in and out of the pool on the stairs was very difficult. Definitely not good for the aged.

Secure, helpful and friendly..they could just improve English.

The only downside was that the room cleaners are not thoroughly when they clean. They just clean where the eyes can see if you drop some under the chair or corner you will find it even after cleaning. So the supervisor must do spot checks

The pool is good. Kids just love to soak in the pool. There are 7 eleven n family mart nearby.

Noise level. The front and back of e hotel surrounded wf loud music by the bars. The security of the rooms door, needs upgrade.. using keys instead of key cards. one time, i just close the door with the door latch, my kid can actually open the door from outside, with just liftg the key latch.

Changed rooms 3 times as they were all extremely dirty- bathrooms covered in mould, terrible smell from the drains, bath visibly dirty. It is nothing like the photos. Staff were extremely rude. We have never experienced poor service and a hostile attitude like this before. Would not want anyone to stay here.

We loved our room and all the hotel facilities. Very good location, good staff and good hotel facilities.

We booked a good room but we had a problem in the air conditioning in the first day and sometimes the room smelled bad.

I booked a deluxe room because of the comments here about noisy standard room. It was a waste of money cause we could reach our pool view room from an open corridor what has a “party area view”, openspace bars seriously couldnt sleep for 4 days, extremely loud music... terrible till around 2am!Im 26 y old and thought I will never recommend this for family w children cause it could be a nightmare. I politely asked the receptionist if it is possible to change our room but she responded this: “this is patong beach, if you want to sleep go to another hotel to the hills” well OK, customer service level100, so I said ok and left nothing else to say..! Well at least it was raining on our last days at night so no party=sleeping

It was just great to stay at this hotel thru booking.com... booking.com even helped us found the in budget hotel with complete leisure. Thank u.. we would like to stay in same hotel during next visit too.... It's pool was really really enjoying and that in pool restaurant was great...

Nothing that I dint like.

As soon as we arrived we were given a free upgrade which after travelling most of the day was lovely. The pool and facilities were amazing and very well located with the night markets right behind.

The night markets could be a little loud but most of the noise is blocked out, we tried to book a shuttle back to the airport but was told it was booked out for the day so if I could walk to 7/11 and try get a taxi- usually I have no problem but it was torrential rain with a typhoon coming in and why couldn’t they call one to come.

I loved everything during my stay in Patong, Phuket ..walking towards Jungceylon mall is only 10-15 minutes away and that mall near patong beach street. A walk to the beach is 10 minutes too. Along the way, you will see street vendors offering a wide variety of goods and foods. I enjoyed going to Cafe IndyGo. That place made, the ambience and hospitality, made us feel like we're home. The Thai Ice Tea latte was to die for! Tastes exceptionally better than those I've tried! Food is great at IndyGo. I'd recommend Cafe Indygo after a long walk at the beach. It's not too hard to find if you follow google maps. There's not much i can say about Baumanburi because i spent most of my time out and even didn't get to taste the breakfast(6.30am to 10am) because i woke up late everyday. There's a "in-pool" bar too.. Anywhere in the hotel were easy to access. Staffs were great! Kind and polite!! AND check in/check out procedures shouldn't take long if you are well prepared and abide by the policy. I asked for a 1PM check out. Not too bad, or you just have to pay a full price for a longer extended time base on your booking price. I used vecayphuket for hotel transfer although baumanburi have theirs. I didn't check how much the hotel would charge, but with Vecay, i paid 612baht online as a solo traveller during arrival, approximately 1hour 20mins drive. Going back, i paid 833baht for a van because i was joined by 4more friends. And that is cheap! Journey to and fro, depends on traffic, so expect some delays. Check out Vecayphuket for more info. Oh yes, there are so many mini marts selling almost everything you need, from toiletries to food. So don't worry. Rates were exceptional. I arrived a day after Storm Pabuk. No damage at all, just as the local authorities there affirmed, there was nothing we need to worry. My first time experiencing Phuket, from 5th January to 8th January(my birthday) .
